STAFF at a laboratory are sipping vodka martinis, shaken not stirred, to celebrate a movie success.
Daresbury Laboratory near Warrington has donated two models to the set of the latest James Bond film. The models are of DNA, the molecules that carry our genetic information, and haemoglobin, which carries oxygen round the body.
The plot for the new Pierce Brosnan film, the 20th Bond movie, is a closely-guarded secret.
Filming is due to start at Pinewood studios on January 14.
Daresbury staff member and James Bond fan Brian Todd said: "The loan of these models should raise public awareness of Daresbury's important contributions in biology."
