Mar 19 2001

by Richard Elias, Crime Correspondent:

DETECTIVES hunting a suspected serial killer who may have killed a Merseyside woman will today reconstruct the last known movements of another possible victim.

Zoe Parker's upper torso was pulled from the River Thames last December and despite a huge hunt the rest of her body has not been found.

wo from Halewood whose dismembered corpse was discovered in a north London canal earlier this month.

Not all of her body has been recovered and it is feared the murderer may be keeping remains as "a trophy".

Today, a police officer, wearing clothes similar to those worn by the 24-year-old on the day she disappeared, will walk through the Hounslow area of West London which the victim was known to frequent.

Miss Fields, who was one of 11 children, worked as a prostitute in the Stoke Newington area of north London and had a £150-a-day crack cocaine habit.

She was only identified through a DNA trace and detectives have yet to establish exactly how she died.

The deaths of the two women are also being linked to the disappearance of three others in the capital during the past year.
