A SPECIAL service will ferry Mathew Street Festival revellers across the Mersey on Bank Holiday Monday.
The ferry will mean music fans will easily be able to get to the Wirral's first ever Mathew Street Festival Stage in Woodside, Birkenhead. It will travel between the Pier Head and Woodside every half hour from early morning until 7.45pm.
Canadian singer and guitarist Hal Bruce will entertain passengers with strains of Gerry and the Pacemakers.
Tickets will be the same as tunnel tolls - £1.30 for adults while children's prices are £1 each way.
