Ex-Reds pitch in and help with night for victims FOOTBALL legends Kenny Dalglish and Steve McMahon will be raising money for the disaster appeal. Former Reds midfielder McMahon will take on the role of bartender at The Lal Qila on Bath Street, Southport, in a fundraising night while former Reds manager Dalglish will be there to meet customers. Steve will also be auctioning a signed England shirt during the evening. Restaurant owner Tony Miah, 40, said: "Kenny Dalglish and Steve McMahon are regular customers. "Between Christmas and New Year they both came in for a meal and the idea came up through our conversations." Story continues ADVERTISEMENT Mr Miah will be inviting all his friends and regular customers. Vouchers for other Southport restaurants, worth up to £50, will be raffled. The event will be held on January 19 and includes a banquet-style meal. Tickets cost £35, £25 of which will be donated to the tsunami disaster victims.
