MERSEY Ferries has announced a special shuttle service during the Mathew Street Festival this August Bank Holiday.
Festival-goers will be able to catch the high-speed ferry between the two main open-air stages at Liverpool's Pier Head and Birkenhead's Woodside ferry terminal.
The decision follows the extension of the festival to the Wirral with tribute bands including D-Ran D-Ran, Claptonite, Rocks Off, Bryan Adams Experience and Vogue playing at Woodside.
There will be a service departing roughly every 30 minutes from early morning until 7.45pm.
The normal bank holiday 50-minute family River Explorer Cruise Service will remain, stopping at Seacombe and Woodside before returning to Pier Head.
