IT IS the crowning achievement for any band – a lifetime award for one of your biggest songs.
So when Frankie Goes To Hollywood heard their 1980s anthem Relax was to be honoured at a glitzy London bash, they were understandably excited.
News broke last week the track was to be honoured as a “Classic Song” at the prestigious Q Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
But apart from singer Holly Johnson, none of the Liverpool-born band were invited to the show – and even after requesting tickets, they were not allowed to attend.
