Allotment neighbours shocked GARDENERS tending their plots at Boundary Road allotments were amazed to discover illegal drugs were growing nearby. The popular, council-owned site in Bidston has a long waiting list for plots, which rarely become available. John Foxley, 64, of Birkenhead, said: “It is a pretty respectable place. “We have got a school teacher here, two doctors and even someone who works with the police force. “I have seen Paul here - he is a worker and he would keep himself busy digging. He’s a very nice guy. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT “When you hear about cannabis factories, you normally think of heaters and lamps.
