Former Juventus and Napoli footballer Mr Paladini, whohas also invited Callum and his family down to watchQueens Park Rangers as VIP guests, added: "I know exactly the pain this family and Callum is going through as my grandson Gianluca had the same condition.
"The injections helped to ease the pain in his legs and loosen the stiffness in his joints. He's like a different person now.
"Just because I'm a wealthy person doesn't mean it's fair that I can afford it and others can't. I'm happy to pay for his treatment and as much as I can. I feel as if it's my duty to help him."
Ecstatic mother Adele said: "This is fantastic news. The reaction to our story since we spoke to the ECHO has been amazing.
"It's hard to believe a millionaire in top-flight football wants to help us, we are so grateful. Hopefully, this money will help Callum play with his friends and try and copy his Kop heroes."
