On the eve of the foundation’s launch, Yoko Ono will be a VIP guest at the Imagine White Ball, being held in the grounds of Knowsley Hall, THE stately home of the Earl and Countess Derby.
The dinner is expected to attract a host of famous celebrities and stars, headed by Yoko Ono herself, who is the honorary patron of the Imagine charity.
Other Imagine patrons also include England football aces Wayne Rooney and Jamie Carragher as well as Hollywood actor David Morrissey and former soap star Sheree Murphy.
Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have already agreed to headline the entertainment for the evening and plan a few surprise guests for their show.
During her visit to Liverpool, Yoko Ono will also inaugurate the new Flyglobespan air link between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and New York’s JFK airport.
