A MORTUARY manager has set up a course to teach professionals how to apply make-up to dead bodies.
The art of “cosmetic camouflage” is used at the Royal Liverpool Hospital to help bereaved people cope with the horror of a family member suffering a violent death.
Manager Mike Murphy, along with several mortuary technicians, use cosmetics to repair facial injuries and protect loved ones from further distress.
