Diary of gun gangs terror JULY 2005: We reveal teenage gun gangs in Croxteth and Norris Green terrify locals. FEBRUARY 2006: We report that a gun librarian is hiring weapons to the youths for their drug and gang turf battles. MARCH 1: We team up with police to appeal for locals to speak out and end the terror caused by teenage gun gangs. MARCH 6: Locals come forward in response to our campaign and police say their information has given officers a "major breakthrough". MARCH 9: Police storm homes in Croxteth and Norris Green, arresting people and seizing drugs and airguns. Forensic tests show TNT explosives were handled by people in one home. At another address, photographs of guns were pinned to a wall with a list of names of suspected Croxteth Crew members.
