Tone deaf Alan will not sing on stage

WHEN Willy Russell and Alan Bleasdale appear at the Liverpool Playhouse on November 30 in For One Night Only, Alan will NOT be singing. "No music from me - I am leaving all the singing to Willy," he says. Alan, who admits to being 'tone deaf' suffers from stage fright and despite his own lack of musical aspirations he wrote the musical Are You Lonesome Tonight? Big Al did, however, promise to do some of his 'non musical greatest hits.' "I definitely won't be singing - No Elvis Presley or Costello. I leave all that to Willy, he is a brilliant singer." Willy will perform a track from his debut CD, Hoovering the Moon as a curtain-raiser which aims to raise money for Sahir House - an HIV support centre. Seperating reality from fiction ACTRESS Jenny Seagrove reveals her partner, theatre impresario Bill Kenwright, has no problem with her filming love scenes. She says she finds it rewarding going out with someone who works in the business. "I think that always makes things easier, as long as it's not another actor," she says. "But if it's a producer it's easy because they understand. "And he knows most of the other actors as well, so if I have to do a love scene it's probably with someone Bill knows." Spotted: DESPITE reports she had split from her fiance Tony - popstar Jennifer Ellison was spotted getting very up close and personal with the sunbed salesman in Liverpool's trendy Newz Bar.
