A DISABLED schoolboy was pushed and kicked by two laughing classmates who filmed the attack on a mobile phone.
The so-called "happy slapping" attackon Christopher Kingsbury, 13, at Deyes High School, Maghull, is now being investigated by the school and police.
Christopher suffers from Asperger's syndrome, which causes autistic-like behaviour and affects his communication skills. The condition means he is withdrawn and has few friends at school.
Mum Debbie and dad Paul, of Maghull, are distraught about the attack on their son, who did not tell them what happened because he was too frightened of reprisals.
The video, filmed in the school's changing rooms, was passed around pupils' mobile phones until it was seen by a concerned adult who passed it on to Christopher's parents.
The attack is believed to have taken place before the half-term holiday in October. Christopher has had to face his attackers every day at school since and teaching staff had become increasingly worried about him, as he was crying and distressed while at school and his behaviour deteriorated.
Mrs Kingsbury said: "I felt sic kwhen I saw it. I am so angry but I am glad that we know what has happened to Christopher.
"I have not slept since I found out about it. The whole thing is sick.
"I am not sending Christopher back to school until those two boys who attacked him have been excluded."
Head teacher Peter Reed said: "We are investigating and any misbehaviour will be dealt with. We are still trying to ascertain the facts."
A spokesman for Merseyside police said: "The school's liaison officer will be visiting the school to talk with the boys and their parents."
