THE ECHO today reveals for the first time the full details of a Geneva-based financier's plans to invest in Everton FC.
In his first ever interview, Chris Samuelson says the Fortress Sports Fund will have a 29.9% stake in the club by December, with an option to acquire further shares to give it a controlling stake.
Today he declared: "This is just the start. Everton is a jewel.
"The Evertonians are totally passionate and I think we can teach others to have the same feelings, giving us a vast following around the world."
