THE countdown has begun to the last day of bidding in the ECHO's celebrity memorabilia auction in aid of victims of the Asian tsunami.
The hammer finally falls on the internet sale at noon tomorrow - so there is still time for you to bid for an exclusive piece of showbiz or sporting history.
The ECHO has joined forces with Mike McCartney to offer 10 exciting lots, ranging from a Paul McCartney autographed book to a signed Liverpool FC shirt.
Famous names like Bill Wyman, David Bailey, Willy Russell, Michael Palin and David Puttnam have all contributed items.
Money raised from the eBay sale is to be divided between the ECHO's tsunami appeal and Unicef and will go to help the victims. The sale follows our sell-out tsunami appeal concert last month - featuring stars like Melanie C, Gerry Marsden and Claire Sweeney - which raised £51,000.
Through his charity work for Unicef, Mike has collected some remarkable memorabilia over the years.
Mike said: " Some items are priceless but anyone out there has the chance now to own a piece of contemporary history. These will appeal to people from all walks of life."
Steve Bailey, manager of the Beatles shop in Mathew Street, said: "We have auctions each year and if someone had come in with these souvenirs we would have been well pleased."
* To bid, log on to eBay (www.ebay.co.uk) and search 'all items and descriptions' for the key words "ECHO tsunami appeal."
