THE latest star names have been announced for this year's Summer Pops.
Scottish combo Wet Wet Wet will be taking to the stage for their first show in Liverpool for 15 years.
Fronted by Marti Pellow, the foursome will top the bill at the big top on July 3. Tickets are on sale now.
They join Diana Ross, Will Young, Meat Loaf, Brian Wilson, Ronan Keating, Andy Williams, Status Quo and Jools Holland for the Pops line up.
Wet Wet Wet reformed for an arena tour late last year to coincide with the release of their greatest hits album. Their appearance will be one of only two UK shows this summer.
Love Is All Around, recorded for the soundtrack of the movie Four Weddings And A Funeral in 1994, is one of the biggest selling singles of all time with 15 weeks at No. 1.
The Wets also topped the charts with a cover of The Beatles A Little Help From My Friends and Goodnight Girl.
They notched up 25 Top 40 hits, including Wishing I Was Lucky, Angel Eyes and Sweet Little Mystery.
Pellow said: "We all love and adore playing live and we're really looking forward to coming back to Liverpool after all these years.'
The Pops are organised by Chas Cole for CMP Entertainment in association with Liverpool City Council.
