Liquidators have since been trying to recover company cash.
A judge ordered Mrs Lang-ford to pay £400,000 in wages, interest and costs.
She was business development director at the company.
Merseyside Trades Council is pursuing compensation claims for 1,000 of the 2,500 former Accident Group staff.
Council president Alec McFadden, who also sits on the Accident Group liquidation committee, said: "The tide of justice is at last turning. All the former Accident Group staff will be a bit happier this Christmas - Deborah Langford has been forced to pay up."
