DAY trippers to Liverpool will have a new guide to help them take a magical mystery tour around the city's Beatles attractions.
A comprehensive map of Fab Four sites has been produced and will help fans discover everything from Lennon and McCartney's childhood homes to the Cavern.
John Lennon Airport also gets a mention alongside the Cavern Club and pub and the Beatles shop and museum.
The Home of the Beatles map is the first to plot all the venues in one chart and it is hoped it will help the 600,000 Beatles tourists who visit every year navigate their way around.
Keith Blundell, head of tourism at Liverpool Culture Company, said: "The Beatles are one of the most fascinating aspects of Liverpool's culture and musical heritage.
"Their appeal has never waned and their story has been told a million times but never before in this way.
"This interactive guide provides visitors with new and illuminating insights into the lives of John, Paul, George and Ringo. It will be invaluable to any fan and one which allows them to experience the Liverpool they grew up in and were shaped by."
The guide will be launched to international travel operators planning tours for 2007 at this week's British Travel Trade Fair.
More than 5,000 copies will then be distributed across the attractions and Tourist Information Centres.
