Born in Sri Lanka, the 38-year-old moved to Jamaica where he stayed for 10 years and was ordained as a priest.
He came to England two years ago and, after spending time at St John's church in Kirkdale, he moved to Huyton.
Father Anton told the ECHO: "It is since I have arrived in Huyton I have suffered some problems.
"I do not know why these youngsters are doing this. I do not know what it is all about. I do not, however, believe these to be racist incidents.
"The police are doing everything they possibly can.
"I just do not take these things seriously. It is something which could happen anywhere in the world. I am used to this sort of thing having come from Jamaica as violence is high over there."
As he was doing his Wednesday afternoon round giving communion to the house-bound, a brick was thrown by teenagers standing on the opposite side of the road.
Father Anton said: "Fortunately the brick missed me but I could not believe this could happen just as I was walking down the road."
