A SCHOOL in Liverpool is facing legal action after seven pupils were excluded from lessons for five days for refusing to cut their hair.
One of them, Christian Bridge, 14, was thrown out of class for his shoulder-length hair after being told last term it was acceptable to have it tied back.
His brother Dominic, 16, is also facing exclusion for his hairstyle.
The year 11 and year 9 pupils at St Margaret's Church of England voluntary aided school, Aigburth Road, are among a total of seven pupils who been excluded from school for five days.
One father of a pupil will be meeting solicitors today to pursue legal action against the boys' school..
News of Dominic's threatened exclusion comes as a blow after his two-year battle to face bullies at the school.
He claims he was so badly assaulted in school by another pupil that he still suffers sight loss and headaches.
But the alleged bully was allowed to return to his studies at the same school.
Dominic, of Buckland Street, Aigburth, is due to sit his GCSEs this summer and aspires to take up A-levels in September.
He has continued with his studies and abided by the rest of the school uniform rules. In his spare time he plays bass guitar for up-and-coming local rock band Hotwire.
