LIVERPOOL houses were sprayed with bullets when gangsters fired a machine gun in a drive-by shooting.
The attack sparked a terrifying shoot-out as teenagers returned fire with their own weapon.
Residents in Norris Green described last night's shoot-out as "like an American gangster movie".
They fear the gun wars plaguing Norris Green and Croxteth will eventually claim an innocent life.

One resident told the ECHO how two bullets shattered his front window, ricocheted off the ceiling and lodged in the living room floor.
John, 31, too frightened to give his surname, said: "I was standing in that spot not five minutes before. I could have been killed.
"My elderly dad is ill. Just the shock of this incident could have killed him as well."
Another resident said two houses and a parked car in Sandway Crescent were peppered with bullets, while a house in nearby Whinhowe Road was also hit.
