LIVERPOOL'S Mikey Dalton has got city youngsters' vote after taking a stand against smoking in the Big Brother house.
Members of D-MYST (Direct Movement by the Youth SmokeFree Team), part of campaign group SmokeFree Liverpool, say they are delighted Scouse housemate Mikey has spoken out about the high level of smoking in the Big Brother house.
The software developer and model from Aigburth nominated fellow house-mate Sam Brodie this week, saying: "She stinks the house out with fags."
Members of D-MYST have sent more than 200 individual letters to the programme producers Endemol, to ask for smoking to be removed from the Big Brother house.
D-MYST project manager Gina McDaid said: "It's fantastic to have a fellow Liverpudlian, who is in the public eye, supporting the messages of our campaign.
"We've asked for Endemol to cut smoking from the house, and to restrict it to the BB garden only, in order to protect all non smoking contestants from the dangers of second hand smoke exposure.
