Man's ear bitten off during mass brawl

A MAN is fighting for his life and another had his ear bitten off in a mass brawl in Crosby. Fighting broke out close to the Yates's Wine Lodge, also known as the St George's Hotel, at around 11.30pm yesterday. Witnesses said the fight was between a large group of men. One of the men suffered severe head have been made. Detectives are studying CCTV footage and have asked witnesses to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. * A father-of-two originally from Liverpool died after being attacked in Yorkshire on Saturday. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT Ronald Theodore and wife Josie were set upon as they walked home from a restaurant. Mr Theodore, 40, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital but later died. A 19-year-old man was appearing in court today charged with manslaughter.
