TEDDY bears and toddlers were on the march with their parents as they made their way to a perfect summer picnic.
The toys were invited alongside their owners to celebrate the first birthday of a tots walking group.
As well as sandwiches and squash there was face painting, musical games and teddy bears of all sizes at King George V park in Maghull.
Health visitor Lyn Swift said: "It was a fabulous day and everyone really enjoyed themselves. It was supposed to be a two-hour picnic but it lasted much longer."
Around a hundred parents, children and teddy bears were at the picnic, organised by the South Sefton primary care trust to celebrate the first birthday of the South Sefton Pramble group.
