Ex-Busted star pledges time as ambassador for Liverpool 08

FORMER Busted star Matt Willis yesterday signed up to become an ambassador for the Capital of Culture. The singer agreed to promote Liverpool 08 around the world when he visited the city. He joins more than 2,000 people from all walks of life who have joined the ambassador scheme since it was launched earlier this year. Other ambassadors include Cherie Booth, comic Ken Dodd and Merseyside Chief Constable Bernard Hogan-Howe. More than 400 fans turned out to see Mr Willis yesterday as he signed copies of his solo single, Hey Kid, at HMV in Church Street.
