Liverpool murder victim named

A MAN murdered in a Liverpool street was named by police today.
Daniel Keatinge, 25, of Higher Lane, Fazakerley, was blasted by a lone gunman close to his home on Friday night.
Police were called to Formosa Road, also Fazakerley, at around 7.30pm after residents reported the sound of five gunshots ringing out.
They found Mr Keatinge lying on the pavement. He had been shot several times.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.

Police hunting the killer today said they were treating it as a targeted attack.
The gunman is thought to have run off after pulling the trigger. Police said he went in the direction of Eagle Dene.
