* RE: THE increasing practice of women who choose to go shopping dressed in their night clothes, I find this to be distasteful and recently complained to Asda.
They replied to my complaint by saying that although this practice was becoming more commonplace, they did not see it as a problem.
May I ask through your paper what other readers think?

* IF WE had so called whistle blowers at Auschwitz or did not have whistle blowers in the White House in the 70s, history may have been so different.
I welcome any information being denied to the British people by a government hiding behind our security forces. Illegal war? Dirty tricks? No WMD? Thousands dead and dying. It's time for the government to come clean.

* WITH reference to the Waterloo Cup and Clarissa Dickson Wright's remarks. I suggest Clarissa puts her money where her mouth is and get out there on the field in Altcar, and I'll send some lions to chase her (because this is what it equates to)
Miss G. Morris, Maghull
* I JUST don't now how anyone can callously watch harmless hares being chased by hounds and torn to pieces.
It's about time the government put an end to this needless cruelty and banned blood sports altogether.

* GOOD luck to photographer Colin Lane in being nominated for his brilliant photos, (Echo Feb 27, 'Echo man Colin is snap happy').
I especially love the Happy Birthday one as well as the city scene showing the Liverpool waterfront lights.

* WHILE I applaud the efforts of the police to try to stop loutish behaviour with on the spot fines, I have to query two things.
Whether it is feasible in reality. Whether the police have better things to do: like catching the real criminals!
