THERE were a couple of shocks in round two of the Sponsors Cup.
Wirral Hundred had a 4-0 away victory over first division FC Village as Steven Price smashed in a hat-trick.
Second division Wirral Wanderers recorded an impressive away win over their first division counterparts Parkfield BA. Debut boy David Rimmer scored, aided by Darren Corness and a Danny Irwin header.
Bebington Rovers went down 10-0 at home to 10 One o’clock Gun. JJ Harrison sealed a trick, with Jamie Edwards, Kev Machin, Ricky Neill bagging doubles and singles for Anthony Morris and Aaron Duff.
A Stuart Payne header, Martin Lewis strike and a Kenny Smith deflection was enough for Parkview Social to see off Neston Legion 3-2.
