THERE was heartbreak for Birkenhead as they saw victory snatched from their grasp by National Three North League leaders Morley in the seventh minute of added time.
Winger Simon Bradshaw was the Morley hero with four first-half penalties and converted second-half tries in the 41st minute and again from a breakaway in the very last move.
Birkenhead opening brightly with a well taken try by Andy Trotter. Dave Hall added the goal plus a penalty.
Freeman Payne crossed in the third quarter and Hall landed two more penalties in a thrilling match.
