CHESTER’S latest victory, 35-12 at the expense of Sheffield Tigers, took them into second place in the National Three North table.
They are just two points behind leaders Morley and will be looking to Birkenhead Park to do them a favour away to the Yorkshire side this Saturday.
Chester face a tough trip to Middlesbrough and will need a big performance.
The Hare Lane side ran in four tries against Sheffield. James Farrell, who has made a return at scrum-half, gained two with singles for skipper Sean Green and Gareth Coy.
