LANCASHIRE veteran Glen Chapple will continue as captain next season.
The 35-year-old seamer, who has just completed his 18th season at the county, took over as skipper at the start of the 2009 season.
Chapple said: “It’s an honour to be asked to continue as captain of Lancashire for next season. Captaincy certainly comes with extra responsibilities but I believe I’ve shown it’s a role I feel confident in performing.”
Chapple took 35 County Championship wickets this year despite missing five matches with a foot injury.
