Avalon schoolboy Joe Robinson impressed with an outstanding display against Kirkdale's Steve Tynan. Controlling the bout from the outset, Robinson capped his performance by decking Tynan in the last en route to a fully merited points win.
Of the senior performers, southpaw light-welter Jamie Stalker of St Aloysius served notice as one to watch for next season as he comprehensively outpointed Hamer's Lee Carey over three twos.
