MICHAEL JONES has tipped former foe Jamie Moore to emerge victorious tonight when he puts his European light-middleweight title on the line against Ryan Rhodes.
Liverpool’s own former European title challenger believes that Moore will be too strong and too motivated for veteran Rhodes.
Jones, who teases that we may not have seen the last of him in the prize ring, revealed that he’s friends with Moore these days, despite their drawn out domestic treble a couple of years ago.
“I spoke with Jamie just last week and he knows how close he is to a world title fight,” said former British and Commonwealth champion Jones, now 34.
“He’s so strong at the weight while Rhodes struggles to make 11 stone.
