LIVERPOOL fight fans are in for a real treat next month when one of the biggest names in boxing history rolls into town for one night only.
Middleweight great Thomas 'The Hitman' Hearns (right) will appear at the Adelphi Hotel, headlining a top table packed with stars of the ring.
And he won't be alone. His trainer Emanuel Steward, who also guided Naseem Hamed and Lennox Lewis through their championship years, will be present making his first public appearance in the north of England.
Hearns made his name throughout the '80s - the golden years for middleweight boxing - with his titanic battles with Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler.
