CORONATION STREET cast members will be joined by two competition winners in Soap-stars on Parade at Southport Theatre. The concert, organised as part of the South-portAir Showand Military Display, will see Rebecca Woods and Tricia Cavanagh performing alongside Corrie'sDebra Stephenson and Andy Whyment. Air training cadet Rebecca, 17, from Preston, was the overall winner of the Military Popherocompetition with Tricia Cavanagh, 28, from the Royal Signals in Liverpool, attaining runner-up position. Rebecca and Tricia took part in Military Pop Hero following a series of auditions. The competition was organised by the Army's 42 Brigade and the airshoworganisers to raise fund the Army Benevolent Fund. Debra Stephenson, who plays Frankie in the soap has enjoyed success appearing in Stars in their Eyes and Andy, who plays Kirk, has appeared on Soapstar Superstars. Also appearing on the night will be 11-year-old singer songwriter Izzy Feld, who performed at the Variety Club of Great Britain tribute concert to Jimmy Osmond. Jimmy was so impressed with the youngster that he and his brothers asked her to perform the warm-up performance for their concert at the EmpireTheatre in Liverpool earlier this year. The concert will also feature the Kings Division Band, under the leadership of Richard Watterson, award-winning comedian Lennie Anderson and the event will be compered by Radio Merseyside's Norman Thomas.
