AHOST of fun events await Formby youngsters at Sefton's libraries this summer. Craft, music and wildlife events are planned for branches in all parts of Sefton from Southport, to Formby, Crosby and Maghull. Lesley Davies, Sefton Council's children's and young people's librarian, said: "Our libraries have all had packed diaries this summer with a wide variety of exciting events added to the usual programmes of activity." Thelibraries arecelebrating the Summer Reading Challenge, which aims to get children reading six books in 10 weeks through the holidays, by hosting Crazy Spy Craft events as the theme of this year's challenge is spies.
