Even for those a little jaded by the Jubilee, the event should still appeal - with hostesses in lavish attire. Entertainment will be provided by the ever faithful Lavinia, playing her favourite blend of disco divas and camp classics.
WPG's Right Royal Night Out is next Friday, at the Hotel Victoria on Albion Street in New Brighton. Doors open at 9pm, with a late bar to 1am. Admission on the door is £4, or £2 for members, and the usual raffle prizes up for grabs.

But, contrary to most stereotypes, there are plenty of people in the LGB community who are interested in football for more than just aesthetics.
True, there are plenty of fit footballers at Liverpool or Everton. But there'll be plenty of armchair England supporters who may not be playing for the same team as most fans.
