LAST night saw the launch of the latest service for the gay community over on Wirral. The Jigsaw Centre provides a host of holistic services for local LGBs which are all free and confidential.
These include consultation services, face-to-face counselling and welfare rights information. They have complementary therapies where members pay a £5 membership fee, and have treatments free after that.
Computers with internet access are being installed for public use, plus a resource library, and they will host workshops and training days on a variety of issues.
Arrowe Park will provide a GUM outreach service for hepatitis vaccination and support over awkward sexual health issues.
The centre helps to organise social groups including WOW (We're Out on Wirral), for gay and bisexual men and women under 25, and a married mens' group.
