THE buzz is to be believed as we all recover from last night's launch of the new centrepiece to Liverpool gay nightlife.
ESP opened its doors last night for a charity fundraiser for local HIV charity, Sahir House. This latest venture from Carl and Gordon, the boys behind the Escape, hopes to provide a 'new queer clubbing experience' for Liverpool.
ESP is situated on the edge of what is becoming Liverpool's gay village around Victoria and Dale Street. They have refurbished the former Bar 34 on Stanley Street, giving us a three-floor, three-bar extravaganza, with VIP lounge area, two dancefloors and oodles of glamour.
The club is open seven nights a week, promising a diverse mix of music throughout, and floors for all tastes. Every Tuesday there will be a dedicated women-only space for all you luscious lesbians.
The Girlz On Top will also have all female staff, including bar staff, DJs and even bouncers. Fridays will feature the Poptastic crew, bringing their indie-pop night from Escape to ESP.
