Meanwhile, Moyes faces a selection dilemma over Tim Cahill, who he may be forced to rest later this month due to his long-distance international commitments.
The midfielder has been named in Australia's squad for their FIFA Confederations Cup qualifers against the Solomon Islands and will have to fly out straight after tomorrow's encounter with Tottenham Hotspur.
Australia play the first leg in Honiara a week tomorrow with the reverse fixture in Sydney four days later, meaning Cahill will have played two games and travelled more than 40,000 miles before returning for Everton's home game against Southampton on October 16.
Moyes said: "There will be a lot of travelling involved. He leaves soon after the Tottenham game and is only back a few days before the game with Southampton. It is something for us to consider."
The Everton manager has conceded he still has no idea when Li Tie will be available for selection.
The Chinese international has been sidelined since cracking his shin while on international duty in February, an injury which ruled him out for longer than originally expected.
The 27-year-old has returned to light training and visits a consultant on Monday hoping to be given the green light to resume full training. But Moyes said: "His shin has healed but it is the mobility in his ankle which has been the problem.
"He was kept in plaster perhaps longer than we would have wanted and it took longer than it should to get him freed up. He is working hard but I am not sure when he will be available."
