Young striker Lukas Jutkiewicz signed for Everton from Swindon Town in March 2007, seeing out the rest of the season with Town before joining up with the Blues in May.
If Jutkiewicz can make an impact on the squad, he will prove to be another shrewd buy for David Moyes who has a good track record of bringing lower division players into the Premiership, shown with Tim Cahill and Joleon Lescott.
Jutkiewicz started out at Southampton, before being released at the age of 14 and was picked up by Swindon Town where he rose through the ranks to make his first team debut in the 2006/ 2007 season.
Making his debut at the age of seventeen, the striker impressed enough to feature in the first team throughout the season- starting 13 games, appearing as a substitute for 20 and scoring 5.
The eighteen-year-old has made a solid start to his Everton career, scoring on his debut in a friendly against Bury and scoring twice against 1860 Munich Under-23s.
