DUNCAN FERGUSON has made himself an Everton legend.
There are some people out there who would question the validity of that statement - but not Evertonians, and I would never argue with what Everton supporters say about a footballer.
What you can say without any fear of argument whatsoever is that Duncan Ferguson loved Everton Football Club. Of that there is absolutely no doubt.
He loved nothing better than turning it on against Manchester United or Liverpool - and he has an FA Cup winners' medal in his possession from 1995.
It's always sad when any football career comes to an end, but Duncan will know better than anybody whether his body was capable of carrying on.
