Javier Mascherano urges Liverpool to build on Manchester United victory

JAVIER MASCHERANO today urged his team-mates not to let their efforts against Manchester United go to waste when Premier League duty resumes this weekend. Liverpool’s midfield dynamo will miss tomorrow night’s Carling Cup tie at Arsenal through suspension but will be refreshed for Saturday’s trip to face Fulham. The Reds are now looking forward to that tussle at Craven Cottage, rather than viewing it with trepidation, after flattening United 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday.
