John Arne Riise aims to silence Everton

JOHN ARNE RIISE wants to help Liverpool earn a derby double over Everton this weekend – and silence his mobile phone in the process. The Norway international is hopeful of a recall at left-back when the Mersey giants clash at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool will open up a five-point gap on their neighbours with victory, having already won 2-1 at Goodison Park in October. And Riise has an extra incentive to ensure Rafael Benitez’s side can bounce back from their defeat at Manchester United last Sunday. “A few of my mates are Evertonians and they keep texting me after every game,” said Riise. “So believe me when I say I truly want to beat them this weekend.
