Nathan Eccleston looks for Liverpool recovery at Lyon

DEBUTANT Nathan Eccleston admits it was an afternoon of mixed emotions as he made his Premier League bow in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat at Fulham. The 18-year-old followed up his first appearance for Rafael Benitez’s senior side in the midweek Carling Cup loss at Arsenal with a late substitute appearance at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Now the Liverpool starlet has backed his team-mates to prove the doubters wrong and get a victory on Wednesday night in the Anfield outfit’s crucial Champions League match at Lyon.
