LIVERPOOL captain Steven Gerrard won a brace of gongs at the inaugural 107.6 Juice FM Liverpool Style Awards held in front of a star-studded audience at Sefton Park Palm House.
The midfielder, who won his awards for Most Stylish Sporting Star and Icon, paid tribute to Liverpool player Jamie Carragher who he credited with instilling in him a sense of style.
He said: “I would like to thank Jamie Carragher for this award.
“If it wasn’t for him badgering me about my dress sense and hair cut then I wouldn’t be standing before you today. So ‘thank you Jamie’.”
The other big winner of the night was Coleen McLoughlin who won Most Stylish Scouser.
The awards were sponsored by Liverpool FC, city centre salon Voodou, The Birkdale Clinic, and Sexy Interiors.
