"Sissoko called me that (son of a bitch) in the first game two weeks ago. I didn't react then but couldn't help myself this time. Even so, I didn't use racist abuse. The referee only heard my words, not Sissoko's. Or perhaps he only under-stands English, not French. Either way, Nielsen was very arrogant. I shouldn't be surprised by that.
"I went to his dressing room afterwards, because I wanted to find out why he had sent me off. I didn't go there to apologise. I never thought of doing that, because I had nothing to apologise for.
"But all I got was an arrogant response. He comes across on the pitch as if he wants to be the star of the show, and it was the same afterwards. The man is arrogant.
"The red card was ridiculous. If every player who says f--- off to an opponent is going to be sent off, you are going to get 10 red cards every game."
Sissoko said: "I could not really make out what Jestrovic said to me. If it was racist, I did not hear it."
Bizarrely, Anderlecht believe the incident to be merely just another example of prejudice shown against them by referee Nielsen.
