Benitez tips Kewell to star

RAFA BENITEZ today tipped fit-again Harry Kewell to shrug off his FA Cup final woe and prove a World Cup hero for Australia. Kewell played 88 minutes of pre-tournament warm up with Dutch amateur side V.V. Kloetinge over the weekend, scoring twice in an 8-1 win. The left winger is now expected to feature in the competition, easing fears the groin injury would rule him out. Now Benitez is predicting the 27-year-old will prove one of the stars of Germany. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT "Last season was Harry's best for Liverpool and it was very unfortunate he was hurt in the cup final," said Benitez. "He had a very good year and I'm sure he can play as well for Australia in the World Cup. He will be one of their most important players because he has the ability to win games, create goals and score." The right-midfielder is not on Reds boss Rafa Benitez's wanted list this summer.
