LIVERPOOL have confirmed the appointment of Eduardo Macia as joint chief scout to work alongside Frank McParland.
Macia arrives at Anfield from Valencia and will replace Paco Herrera, who recently moved to Espanyol as technical director.
Meanwhile Millwall manager Nigel Spackman is happy with new signing Zak Whitbread. He said: "The Millwall fans took to Zak last season and he was very keen to come here, but it's taken a lot of negotiations behind the scenes to get the deal done."
