WE'RE expecting a strong following from Scunthorpe to our home game at Prenton Park on Saturday(KO 3pm) as they could be officially made champions of League One.
In fact if the other sides immediately below them lose, they will win the title even if they lose the match.
The larger and wealthier clubs like Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Doncaster were the favourites to win the league at the start of the season, but for the third year running a relatively small club looks like being the best.
Last year it was Southend with Colchester as runners-up and the year before it was Luton Town.
Scunthorpe are worthy champions and it gives us hope that success in football is not just about having financial resources.
